Makinde hosts PFN leadership
Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, on Friday, hosted the leadership of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) led by its President, Bishop Francis Wale Oke.
The meeting tagged ‘Prayer Breakfast’ and held at the Government House, Ibadan, saw the national officers of the body in attendance.
Equally, zonal officers as well as the South West Chairmen of Oyo, Ondo, Ogun, Osun, Lagos and Ekiti States attended the prayer meeting with the Governor.
Speaking briefly before they went into prayer session, the leadership of the PFN through its President, Bishop Oke, commended the State Governor for his giant strides at seeing Oyo State develop on all fronts.
The PFN noted that the developmental efforts of Makinde could be felt across the length and breadth of the State.
“We don’t have anything to give than to continue to pray for the Governor, the State and its people that God’s glory and grace should envelope us” he said.
While encouraging him not to rest on his oars, the body assured Governor Makinde that he would not be disappointed in his quest at taking the State to lofty heights.
In his short response, the Governor thanked the leadership of the Christian body for deeming it fit to have the prayer meeting with him.
