G-5 is now G-6, I am now a member – Umahi said Wike during project commissioning
The Ebonyi State Governor, Umahi has said that G-5 is now G-6 has he has become a member. Umahi said this in Rivers State at the commissioning of a road project carried out by the Wike-led government.
Umahi while speaking on the fight for justice by Governor Wike and his allies identified as the G-5 said their fight is not personal.
He said that the G-5 members were fighting to keep the country together, adding that God is with them and he has Wike and his allies back.
Umahi noted that there was a G-4 before, which had him (Umahi), the Zamfara State Governor, Matawalle, and Cross Rivers Governor, Ben Ayade as members before Wike removed them.
He, however, stated that he has joined the G-5, which consists of the Rivers State Governor, Oyo State Governor, Benue State Governor, Abia State Governor, and Enugu State Governor.
Umahi while addressing Wike Said: “Your fight is not personal, you are fighting to put this country together … I want to assure you that I have your back, I have your front, I’m with you, we are united in this.
“You know those governors you removed or wanted to remove before you soft-pedalled, we have formed G-4, that is governor Wike, myself, Cross-River and Zamfara. There is another G-4 and G-5 is hereby expanded to G-6, I am now a member of G-6” Umahi told Wike.
Umahi further stated that many other Governors are interested in the integrity group of the aggrieved Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors.
He took the opportunity to solicit support for the presidential ambition of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu in the forthcoming election.
