Tinubu, Governors meet at Villa

Governors from the 36 States of the federation held meeting with President Bola Tinubu the presidential villa, Abuja.

Led by the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) and governor of Kwara, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, they were received in audience at 12.30 pm in the Council Chamber by the president.

Some of those present at the meeting include the governors of Zamfara, Kano, Taraba, Kogi, Ogun, Nasarawa, Bayelsa, Adamawa, Ebonyi, Lagos, Rivers, Osun, Jigawa, Benue, Taraba, Delta, Enugu, Rivers, Oyo, Plateau, Kebbi, Abia, Imo, Bauchi

The deputy governors of Edo and Niger represented their states.

Also in the meeting is Vice President Kashim Shettima, the new Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF), the National Security Adviser (NSA), Major General Babagana Monguno (ret.), amongst others.
