Buhari approves new federal appointments

 

  • Yewande Sadiku becomes NIPC Executive Secretary

His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari has approved new appointments in 13 Federal Government agencies.

According to a press statement signed by Director (Press) to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Bolaji Adebiyi, the new appointees as follows:

Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Mr. Joseph Ari as Director-General; National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami) has  been appointed Director-General; Nigerian Content Monitoring, Engineer Simbi Kesiye Wabote has been appointed its Board Executive Secretary; Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON), Aboloma Osita Anthony has been appointed as its Director-General

For the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) its Director-General is Mamman Amadu; Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) has Barrister Sharon Ikeazor as its Executive Secretary; New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) has Princess Akodundo Gloria as its National Coordinator/CEO. Petroleum Equalization Fund (PEF) has its Executive Secretary in Alhaji Ahmed Bobboi.

Others are Umana Okon Umana who has been appointed Managing Director Oil & Gas Free Zone Authority; National Commission for Refugees, Migrant and Internally Displaced Persons has Sa’adiya Faruq as its Federal Commissioner; Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) has Engineer Usman Abubakar as its Chairman; Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) has Dr. Bello Aliyu Gusau as its Executive Secretary while Yewande Sadiku becomes Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission’s (NIPC) Executive Secretary
