The Nigerian Stock Exchange All Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization decreased by 0.24%, today while the Year-to-Date return stood at -13.24 per cent.
The All Share Index closed at 24,850.11 against the previous close of 24,909.88 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦8.548 trillion against Thursday close of ₦8.569 trillion. Volume traded increased by 5.56 per cent from 178.784 million to 188.719 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 28.06 per cent from ₦1.181 billion to ₦1.512 billion in 3,050 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 147.798 million shares exchanged for ₦0.754 billion. Consumer Goods came next with 19.948 million shares traded for ₦0.612 billion, Agriculture, Conglomerates, Oil And Gas sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Zenith Bank, Access, FCMB, FBNH and UCAP were the most active stocks by volume while Learnafrca, Eterna, Infinity, Dangsugar and CCNN emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Champion, Airservice, Tigerbrands, Livestock and Law Union topped the losers chart.
