Premium Pensions wins Pension Company of the Year award

An Abuja-based Premium Pension Limited has won the 2015 BusinessToday Online Pension Company of the Year award.

The award, which took place in Ikeja, Lagos saw the company winning the prestigious award for the first time.

Speaking on the award, the MD/CEO of BusinessToday Online, Ms Nkechi Naeche, said the award, which is in its third edition, seek out exceptional insurance and Pension individuals, firms and States that have excelled in the past one year.

She said Premium Pensions was picked from the votes cast by the public and other considerations made by the award’s panel of judges.

Naeche noted that, 80 per cent of the total votes cast were assigned to the public while a panel of judges made of experts possessed 20 per cent of the voting rights.

She said Premium Pension won 2015 awards following its efficient services to Nigerian retirees and their families, adding that the Pension Fund Administrator (PFA) provides a range of pension products and services to its client base across the country.

She added that the pension company in 2015 paid over N87 billion to retirees and next-of-kin of contributors into the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) under its administration.

The above figure was paid to a total of 33,000 retirees and relatives of deceased contributors in its portfolio between 2007 and 2015.

She noted that pension assets under its management is in excess of N380 billion and pension enrolees under its management spread across over 1000 organisations across the country and has already been firmly established as a key player in the CPS.

The company in 2015 adopted robust pension administration software to enhance its operations across the country.

Other winners include; the Director General, Lagos State Pension Commission (LASPEC), Mrs Folasade Onanuga who won the BusinessToday Online Pension Amazon of the year 2015, LASPEC won Most Compliant Pension State of the Year 2015 and Royal Exchange clichéd double award by wining Insurance Company and CSR Insurance Company of the year 2015.

While Anchor Insurance MD/CEO, Ademayowa Adeduro won BusinessToday Online Insurance Man of Year Award, Anchor Insurance won the Most Innovative Insurance Brand Award 2015 and Mutual Benefits Assurance won Micro Insurance Company of the year award.

  • Aw, this was a truly nice post. In thought I would like to put in writing like this furthermore ¨C taking time and actual effort to make a very fine article?- but what can I say?- I procrastinate alot and by no indicates appear to obtain something performed.

  • I usualy love cold steel knives. This katana arrived a bit sub standard. There are rust spots about 2 inches long on the face of the blade. Also on the spine at about the center point on the blade there is a 3 inch rust spot. Most of the length of the blade was dull except for the tip. It appears as if the katana had been stored for a very long time or handled much before it was sold to me. I will however keep it and attempt to buff out the rust then sharpen.
