Osinbajo urges Nigerians to be strong says New Nigeria dawn soon

Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has urged Nigerians to be strong and of good courage, that they should not be dismayed as God is faithful, stressing that God has promised and that he will fulfil his promises concerning the nation.
He gave the words of encouragement on Sunday in Abuja at the nation’s 56th Independent Anniversary Celebration Church service in Abuja where he said that every Nigerian will benefit from new Nigeria “where there will be peace from the North East to Niger Delta. A Nigeria where our economy will experience abundance and prosperity, where there will be job for the jobless”.
Speaking further at the service that had many prominent Nigerians in attendance, Osinbajo said: “It is a special privilege to speak to you as we celebrate the 56th Independence anniversary of our dear nation.
“The promise of God to our nation is that he is building a new Nigeria. A Nigeria where there will be peace from the North East to Niger Delta. A Nigeria where our economy will experience abundance and prosperity, where there will be job for the jobless. A Nigeria led by honest and committed leadership. A Nigeria where Christians, Muslims and men of different faiths, men and women of every state and every ethnic group will live and work together in peace and harmony. His promise is that we are on our way out of the wilderness to the land flowing with milk and honey.
“As Christians, we have the duty to bring to pass, the will of God for our nation. The Bible describes us as the light of the world, the salt of the earth. In understanding our role, we must remember how children of God like ourselves, the Israelites, after God had taken them out of terrible oppression in Egypt and was taking them to the promised land, as soon as they experienced the first few problems, they began to grumble and complain “is this what you promised us, take us back to Egypt at least, there we have onions and leaves to eat”.
“Children of God became grumblers-in-chief. The wilderness journey that could have taken few days lasted 40 years, but we are children of God with special anointing of God to declare to our nation that this nation will prosper that it will be well with this nation.
“Children of God, we must be like our father. God is the great encourager, in the Bible, over 300 times, he encouraged us with the word “fear not, fear not”. When the children of God were in a situation somewhat similar to ours, God spoke to Joshua, their leader, in Joshua chapter 1 verse 9. He said; “Have I not commanded you, be strong and of good courage. Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go”. Shortly thereafter, they experienced the miraculous crossing of River Jordan, a second separation of water for them to pass. You also will experience a great miracle in Jesus mighty name.
“So, our message to Nigeria today as Christian is be strong and of good courage, do not be dismayed. God is faithful. He has promised and he will fulfil his promise. Every Nigerian will benefit from new Nigeria in Jesus mighty name. I pray for you that the Almighty will prosper you personally; you will be promoted and from today you will begin to see God’s favour. Your prayers will be answered in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus.
“The God Almighty saw our nation when he decided to put in place the leadership that is now in place. This leadership will take us across the red sea. This leadership will take us to the new Nigeria in Jesus Mighty name. God bless you, God bless Nigeria”. He concluded.
