Market falls further by 0.46%
The Nigerian Stock Exchange All Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization decreased by 0.46 per cent, while the Year-to-Date return stood at -7.77 per cent.
The All Share Index closed at 26,418.11 against the previous close of 26,540.87 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦9.090 trillion against previous close of ₦9.132 trillion even as invesrs lose N42 billion.
Volume traded increased by 69.35 per cent from 248.710 million to 421.182 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 224.74 per cent from ₦3.103 billion to ₦10.078 billion in 3,937 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 212.343 million shares exchanged for ₦0.997 billion. Oil And Gas came next with 76.297 million shares traded for ₦7.452 billion, Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Industrial Goods sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Mbenefit, Oando, Fidson, Champion and Sterlnbank were the most active stocks by volume. Glaxosmith, Npfmcrfbk, CCNN, NAHCO and Conoil emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while FO, Seplat, Betaglas, CAP and ETI topped the losers chart.
