Investors lose N15bn as market down by 0.17%
The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization decreased by 0.17 per cent, while the year-to-date return stood at -5.75 per cent.
The All-Share Index closed at 25,329.08 against the previous close of 25,373.42 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦8.766 trillion against previous close of ₦8.781 trillion.
Volume traded increased by 74.49 per cent from 254.747 million to 444.505 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 43.70 per cent from ₦2.539 billion to ₦3.649 billion in 3,336 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 403.731 million shares exchanged for ₦2.406 billion. ICT came next with 16.873 million shares traded for ₦0.084 billion, Consumer Goods, Conglomerates, Oil and Gas sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Continsure, Zenithbank, UBA, Etranzact and UCAP were the most active stocks by volume. UACN, Okomuoil, Vitafoam, Airservice and Total emerged the highest price gainers on the chart.
On the other hand, FO, Honyflour, Transcorp, Guinness and FCMB topped the losers chart.
