Marked down by 0.44% as investors lose N39bn

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization decreased by 0.44 per cent while the year-to-date return stood at -4.90 per cent as investors made N39 billion loss.
The All-Share Index closed at 25,558.57 against the previous close of 25,671.55 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦8.843 trillion against previous close of ₦8.882 trillion.
Volume traded decreased by 68.96 per cent from 495.238 million to 153.721 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 41.11 per cent from ₦2.549 billion to ₦1.501 billion in 2,675 deal
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 98.612 million shares exchanged for ₦0.579 billion.
Services came next with 21.87 million shares traded for ₦0.015 billion, Consumer Goods, Conglomerates, Construction/Real Estate sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Volume traded decreased by 68.96 per cent from 495.238 million to 153.721 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 41.11 per cent from ₦2.549 billion to ₦1.501 billion in 2,675 deals.
Uba, Cileasing, Dangsugar, Fcmb and Guaranty were the most active stocks by volume.
JBerger, Livestock, Nascon, Ccnn and Fidson emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Cadbury, Guinness, Meyer, Nahco and Jaizbank topped the losers chart.
