Nigerian bourse up by 0.52%, investors gain N46bn

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.52 per cent, while the year-to-date return stood at -4.17 per cent.
The All-Share Index closed at 25,753.00 against the previous close of 25,620.94 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦8.911 trillion against previous close of ₦8.865 trillion.
Volume traded increased by 45.37per cent from 255.727 million to 371.760 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 68.21 per cent from ₦1.669 billion to ₦2.807 billion in 3,627 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 289.828 million shares exchanged for ₦2.258 billion. Conglomerates came next with 26.686 million shares traded for ₦0.027 billion, Construction/Real Estate, Consumer Goods, Services sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Access, Fidelitybk, Guaranty, Zenithbank and Transcorp were the most active stocks by volume. Livestock, Stanbic, NASCON, Learnafrca and Cileasing emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Unilever, Wapco, Continsure, Afriprud and Transexpr topped the losers chart.
