Nigerian bourse up by 0.70% as investors gain N63bn

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.70 per cent, while the year-to-date return stood at -1.70.
The All Share Index closed at 26,418.33 against the previous close of 26,235.63 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦9.132 trillion against previous close of ₦9.069 trillion.
Volume traded decreased by 39.56 per cent from 442.832 million to 267.637 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 10.00 per cent from ₦2.961 billion to ₦3.257 billion in 3,907 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 166.93 million shares exchanged for ₦1.495 billion. Oil and Gas came next with 47.987 million shares traded for ₦0.391 billion, Consumer Goods, Conglomerates, Services sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Oando, Zenithbank, Guaranty, Diamondbnk and FBNH were the most active stocks by volume. Oando, 7UP, Continsure, AIICO and Fidson emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Champion, Jaizbank, Afriprud, Dangflour and CCNN topped the losers chart.
