The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization decreased by 0.44 per cent, while the year-to-date return stood at 33.80 per cent.
The All-Share Index closed at 35,957.24 against the previous close of 36,116.19 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦12.393 trillion against previous close of ₦12.448 trillion.
Volume traded decreased by 31.53 per cent from 222.691 million to 152.466 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 26.07 per cent from ₦4.169 billion to ₦3.082 billion in 4,079 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 103.257 million shares exchanged for ₦1.702 billion. Industrial Goods came next with 20.567 million shares traded for ₦0.688 billion, Conglomerates, Consumer Goods, Services sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Guaranty, Zenithbank, Access, Wapco and UACN were the most active stocks by volume. Unilever, NAHCO, Berger, Dangsugar and AIICO emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Betaglas, Presco, Redstarex, Jaizbank and Okomuoil topped the losers chart.
