Nigerian bourse closes positive Thursday, up O.55%

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.55 per cent on Thursday, while the year-to-date return stood at 32.69 per cent.
The All-Share Index closed at 35,660.04 against the previous close of 35,464.34 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦12.294 trillion against previous close of ₦12.224 trillion.
Volume traded increased by 7.02 per cent from 119.898 million to 128.312 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 56.34 per cent from ₦1.745 billion to ₦2.728 billion in 3,241 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 99.705 million shares exchanged for ₦1.513 billion. Consumer Goods came next with 11.242 million shares traded for ₦1.037 billion, Conglomerates, Oil And Gas, Services sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Zenithbank, Guaranty, Skyebank, FBNH and Jaizbank were the most active stocks by volume. Okomuoil, Jaizbank, Cileasing, Airservice and Sterlnbank emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Neimeth, Unilever, Conoil, Oando and Firstalum topped the losers chart.
