Nigerian bourse sustains positive rally, up 0.34%

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.34 per cent while the Year-to-Date return stood at 38.19 per cent.

The All-Share Index closed at 37,138.97 against the previous close of 37,013.57 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦12.854 trillion against previous close of ₦12.810 trillion.

Volume traded decreased by 36.60 per cent from 305.171 million to 193.477 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 37.79 per cent from ₦2.905 billion to ₦1.807 billion in 3,904 deals.

The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 159.069 million shares exchanged for ₦0.931 billion. Consumer Goods came next with 14.138 million shares traded for ₦0.689 billion, Conglomerates, Services, Construction/Real Estate sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.

Diamondbnk, FBNH, Fidelitybk, FCMB and AIICO were the most active stocks by volume. Diamondbnk, UPL, Nem, Meyer and FCMB emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Intbrew, Linkassure, Morison, Mobil and Learnafrca topped the losers chart.
