World Cup 2018: Nigeria draws Argentina again

The Nigerian national football team, Super Eagles has been drawn with Argentina, making it the fifth Nigerian will confront the South American football super power.

The draw which took place in Russian this evening also has Iceland and Croatia in the same group

The Eagles were grouped with Argentina, seeded in pot one; and Iceland, Croatia, seeded in pot 2 and 3 respectfully.

It is the fifth time Nigeria will be pitched against Argentina in the group stage of the World Cup.

Except for France 1998, Nigeria have faced the two-time world champions in all the World Cup campaigns the Eagles qualified for.

The Eagles were defeated in all the previous games against Argentina at the previous attempt at the world cup, but eagle was able to defeat Argentina 4-2 in a friendly about a month ago.
