Osun 2018: Akinbade pays for Expression of Interest
…Adagunodo commends him, describes his campaign as the best
In line with the directive of the Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Fatai Akinbade, has paid the mandatory N3 million to the coffers of the state party for his Expression of Interest.
Akinbade who is currently on holy pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia for lesser hajj, was represented by a delegation led Mr Dele Akinola, a retired Permanent Secretary in the state
The money was paid into PDP FCMB’s account: 0155025021 on Tuesday, 5th May,2018.
Receiving the delegation, State Chairman of the party, Hon Soji Adagunodo, confirmed the receipt of the money, having been alerted by the bank.
Adagunodo commended Akinbade for running a mature campaign devoid of any ugly occurrence.
“Anyway, we don’t expect him to do less because he has the experience. His campaign is the best so far. We want him to use his clout and experience to bring other aspirants together so that the party can have it smooth sailing at end of the day” Adagunodo stressed.
Other state executive members in attendance at the brief ceremony include the Secretary, Hon Bola Ajao, Hon Sunday Bisi, Publicity Secretary and Hon. Tunde Abeshin.
Akinbade’s entourage include Honourables Kunle Omolola, Sikiru Araoye, Dr Femi Bibilari, Mr Femi Ayedun, Mrs Babawale and Mr Olatidoye.
