Akeredolu says Ondo will not take COVID-19 patient to Lagos
Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has ruled out taking the COVID-19 patients in the state to Lagos State for treatment.
Governor Akeredolu said the state has the capacity to treat the patient who is a military officer that just returned from India.
Akeredolu who spoke in Akure at a world press conference said contact tracing for the patient has begun.
He stated that the contact tracing has been confined to the military barrack as the patient was in self-isolation since he returned from Indian.
The Governor said the state plans to build five isolation centres across the state.
