COVID- 19: NCDC announces 254 new cases as Lagos discharges 14

The Nigeria Centre of Disease Control (NCDC) has put the figure of new Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases i the country to 245.

Lagos, which earlier announced the discharge of 14 more patients, recorded the highest number cases of 76.

The others are: Katsina (37); Jigawa (32); Kano (23); FCT (19); Borno (18); Edo (10); Bauchi (nine); Adamawa (six); Oyo and Ogun have five each. Ekiti, Osun, Benue, Niger and Zamfara recorded one each.

The NCDC put the national tally at 2802, 417 discharged patients and 93 deaths.

The discharge of the 14 patients was announced by Lagos State Health Ministry.

According to the tweet, six females and eight males were discharged from isolation centres at Yaba, Onikan, LUTH and Eti-Osa.
