2023 Presidency: Moghalu unveils ‘Master Plan’ to fix Nigeria

Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and 2023 Presidential hopeful, Kingsley Moghalu has unveiled his master plan to fix Nigrria and evict corruption in the country if elected to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
Moghalu who was the presidential candidate of the Young Progressives Party in the 2019 general elections, spoke on Wednesday in a Twitter space tagged #GettingItRightNG – Conversation with Presidential Aspirants.

Responding to a question about how he (Moghalu) intended to overcome the monster (corruption) eating up the nation when elected, the presidential aspirant said he will begin his battle against corruption from the educational system.

Moghalu said his administration will introduce the teaching of ethics in Nigerian schools so that the younger generations can be taught what is right, wrong, and the consequences that follows engagement with corruption.

He noted that doing so will help the younger generation grow up with a correct kind of value system.

Moghalu stated further at the online event co-hosted by popular Human Rights activist, Segun Awosanya, that his administration will establish a system that will ensure accountability.

He laughed at how the incumbent government and past administrations usually handle officials caught in corruption.

“We have seen in the news on several occasions how people who stole billions of Naira are sacked.

“They get sacked and sent home to enjoy the money they stole or what?” Moghalu asked at the event attended by Naija News correspondent.

He explained further that he will subject every budget that is presented to him to a forensic audit before submitting it to the national assembly for approval.

Moghalu stressed that his government will ensure there is impartial accountability.
