EndSARS not a political movement

Rapper Folarin Falana popularly known as Falz, who is one of the leaders of the #EndSARS memorial procession has declared that the #EndSARS protest is not a political movement.

Falz, who was part of the #EndSARS protest of the last two years said the movement had no affiliation whatsoever with any political party.

He explained that demonstrators only came out because they had seen his announcement to come out in honour of fallen heroes at the Lekki tollgate shooting, adding that there was no form of campaign material because the movement is strictly pro-social justice.

He said; “EndSars has never been a political movement. It has never had any affiliation with any party.

“Even today we mentioned and told people not to bring any political materials because we’re not here for any campaign.”
