Tinubu promises to work hard for Nigeria as Buhari worked for him

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday in Lagos, said he would work hard for Nigeria, as President Muhammadu Buhari has “worked hard” to ensure his victory in the February 25 election.

He also promised to implement all the promises made in the past 96 days of nationwide campaign rallies.

Tinubu said this at the grand finale of the APC campaign rally held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos State.

According to Tinubu, his administration will give hope to the hopeless and create opportunities for the downtrodden.

On his part, the President, who didn’t speak to the audience simply raised the hands of Mr Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, to signify his endorsement of their candidacy.

Tuesday’s rally is the final leg of the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign rally.

It comes one day to the deadline approved by the Independent National Electoral Commission, for all candidates to conclude their campaigns.

It also comes four days to the Presidential and National Assembly elections holding on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

Although the campaign has taken the APC flag bearer to all 36 states of the federation, Buhari has attended only 10 of those rallies.

So far, he has visited Sokoto, Katsina, Imo, Nasarawa, Adamawa, Bauchi, Yobe, Gombe, Plateau and Lagos States.
